Cell Phone/PDA Reading System
Master Meter Systems has just finished development of a new cell phone meter reading application. The new application Integrates directly with the new MasterLinx Enterprise System. This new application will allow your cell phone to automatically upload it’s routes, work orders, meter pictures, work order pictures, and GPS coordinates to the system, no more copying files to and from the handheld. If you are reading with a cellular phone that has a cellular data plan all the information can be uploaded or downloaded from anywhere you have a cell signal. Simply mount your DMMR in your truck, leave your phone in your pocket, then as you drive by meters the readings will be sent to your phone from the DMMR through Bluetooth then automatically forwarded to the MasterLinx system through the handheld application running on your phone. All this without ever pressing a button on your phone, our new meter reading application will automatically detect a handheld dock, WiFi or cellular data plan and transfer the information to the system.
