Submetering Reading System
Our sub-metering platform provides you with a variety of options for data collection to meet your utility’s unique needs. The sub-metering reading system is the primary collection point of field-generated data from Boosters, Repeaters and/or DIALOG 3G endpoints, including meter consumption and alarms within the FixedLinx™ fixed network technology system. Data is not stored in the collector; it is forwarded in real time to the MasterLinx system where it is organized, processed, and made ready for full use by the utility management and interdepartmental personnel. The clean, modular design of the collectors enables maximum flexibility in the chosen technology path forming the communication backbone with the utility. Our standard configuration utilizes existing internet service at the location. However, topographic and other environmental considerations may suggest a preferred technology path such as GPRS cellular modem or WIFI/ WiMAX.

MasterLinx™ IP REMOTE READER
The IP Remote Reader provides daily email, FTP or website-based access to meter reading data. Read data is transmitted via the property’s existing internet service using a standard Ethernet connection. For utilities without internet service, the recommended high-speed DSL or cable internet service costs less than a dedicated phone line.

DIALOG® 3G METERS
Master Meter 3G Integrated Meters and Universal Retrofit Components feature true ConnectionFree™ technology, which does not require external wires or connections. The radio frequency (RF) transceiver, battery and antenna are enclosed and permanently sealed, providing absolute protection against water intrusion. Our unique, miniature transmitter/receiver incorporates leading technology to provide reliable, accurate readings as well as automatic detection of tampering, leaks, and theft (backflow).

DIALOG® 3G RECEIVER

DIALOG® 3G REP READER
The RepReader is similar to the receiver but has the added ability to re-broadcast or repeat the RF meter reading data it receives. AC powered units continually receive the 3G meter reading data and repeat the collected data to a Remote Reader every 12 minutes. Solar-powered units activate every 4 hours, collect data and then repeat the collected data to a Remote Reader.
- Capturing and rebroadcasting read data from group(s) of meters
- Line-of-sight rebroadcast transmission, which is typically 2.5 times the meter transmission range at the property
- Added flexibility with the installation of AC or solar powered options
