Submetering Reading System
Our submetering platform provides you with a variety of options for data collection to meet your unique needs. The primary collection point of field generated data from Boosters, Repeaters and/or DIALOG 3G endpoints including meter consumption and alarms within the FixedLinx fixed network technology system. Data is not stored in the collector but 'pushed' in real time to the MasterLinx system where it is processed, cleaned and made ready for full use by the utility management and interdepartmental personnel. The clean modular design of the collectors enables maximum flexibility in the chosen technology path forming the communication backbone with the utility. Our standard configuration utilizes the existing internet service at the location. However, topographic and other environmental considerations may suggest a preferred technology path such as GPRS cellular modem or WIFI/ WiMAX.
